He is an expert in knowledge-based systems architecture, computational linguistics, and natural language processing and holds several patents related to flexible technology architecture.
Venkat is the founder of several other companies including Rage Frameworks, Brightleaf Corporation, and Corporate Fundamentals. He serves as Chairman of Teranode. Between 1992 and 2000, Venkat was the founding CEO of eCredit.com, the leading provider of credit, financing and receivables management solutions.
Also active in the community, Venkat serves as a Trustee at American India Foundation, BUILD Boston Chapter, and the Boston Harbor Islands Alliance Board.
Sanjay brings several years of experience leading and growing large teams and organizations worldwide. He took on the role of CEO Global at EnglishHelper™ after a long stint at American Express, where he served as Head of Customer Service - International Markets from Singapore, Head of Global Financial Operations from New York, and Senior Vice President and Head of the Leadership Team. He has also held senior positions at Motorola, Pepsico, and Eicher.
Currently, he serves as Director of BOI AXA Investment Managers, Grow Talent, Skill Training Assessment Management Partners (an IL&FS venture) and other companies. He is on the Advisory Boards of organizations including Schneider Electric and Acumen Fund.
Sanjay is deeply committed to the development sector and has been engaged with Charities Aid Foundation , Udayan Care, and Mobile Creches.
Committed to education and related social issues, Sanjay writes a blog column for The Economic Times. Sanjay is, a leadership coach and is faculty at Duke Corporate Education.
In 1974, Jane Hirsh founded Copley Pharmaceutical, Inc. (NASDAQ), a leader in the generic drug industry. In 2000, Copley was sold to Teva Pharmaceutical. In 2003, she co-founded and served as Chairman of Collegium Pharmaceutical. As a specialty pharmaceutical company, Collegium focused on intellectual property development under jane's leadership. Onset Therapeutics, a dermatological specialty company, was founded in 2007 as a subsidiary of Collegium and sold to Precision Dermatology in 2010.
Jane currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Tufts University, the Museum of Science, Boston and Mitra Life Sciences. Jane is on the Board of Rage Frameworks Inc.
Ravi Akhoury is Advisor to New York Life and the former Chairman and CEO of MacKay Shields. MacKay Shields is a multi-product investment management firm with approximately $40 billion of assets under management. Ravi joined MacKay Shields as a Director in 1984.
Prior to this, Mr. Akhoury spent four years with Fischer, Francis, Trees and Watts as a Vice President and member of their Investment Policy Committee.
He is also a Trustee of the Rubin Museum and on the Investment Committee of The Rubin Museum. Ravi is on the board of American India Foundation.
Deepak Verma is the Managing Director of Saferay Holdings Pte Ltd., a joint venture between Saferay GmbH and IBVogt GmbH.

Prior to EVI, Deepak was the Chief Executive Officer of the Clinton Foundation HIV/AIDS Initiative (CHAI). The foundation has been established by former President Bill Clinton and works with several manufacturers to make HIV/AIDS-related drugs and diagnostics more accessible to over 70 developing countries, and has treatment scale-up programs in 40 countries.
