Learning Solutions: Intel’s tech helps improve English language skills in the hinterland

Financial Express

A recent article published by Financial Express talks about how EnglishHelper has deployed AI software, ReadToMe® under the RightToRead Programme, that facilitates multi-sensory reading and comprehension.

EnglishHelper along with its strategic partner, Schoolnet India Limited is spreading the ReadToMe® footprint to reach 20 million children in Government and Government aided schools across the country. Intel, in collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS), enabled EnglishHelper to effectively scale this solution. This initiative is supporting students of more than 25,000 digitally equipped schools in multiple states of India.

Sanjay Gupta, the Global CEO of EnglishHelper and Akanksha Bilani of Intel feel that Intel architecture and AWS cloud-enabled scalable computing capacity is helping extend the RightToRead Programme to the remotest parts of India, impacting and making a difference for both students and teachers.

Studies have shown that students undertaking ReadToMe® enabled classes showed 20–40% higher improvement in reading and comprehension. The programme also includes the implementation of a learning solution called EnglishBolo™ which is a blended spoken English programme with online teacher classes.
