What Else Could Go Wrong?
Everything went wrong today. My alarm clock did not ring. I woke up very late and had to rush to get ready for work. I did not have time to eat breakfast. My Taxi to the office was also late by 20 minutes. A passing car splashed dirty water on my clothes. I reached my office late, looking wet and dirty. I went to the office cafe for a cup of tea. When I put my hand in my pocket to pay for the tea, I realized my wallet was not there! I had left it in the taxi by mistake. What else could go wrong today?
When I reached home in the evening, I was tired and sad. The doorbell rang. Can you guess who it was? It was the driver of my taxi! He found my wallet and came to my house to give it back to me. It wasn’t such a bad day after all!
